Gutso and Relish - Morrocan Night

Gutos and Relish
We had a very good night at the recent Morrocan Night at Gutso and Relish on Pollokshaws Road.  It was our first time at one of the popular special evening meals that the local cafe and deli occasionally hold.

The two of us shared a plate of mixed starters briouates, marinated aubergines, falafel, hummus and flatbread and then moved on to substantial servings of chicken, olive and preserved lemon tagine served with cous cous and carrot salad.

We then shared desserts of m'hannha and honey cinnamon oranges both served with yoghurt ice cream.

All for £19:95 per person. There's no drinks license, so it's BYOB, with a corkage charge of £3 per bottle. Which helps to keep the cost down.

We're both looking forward to the next one already.  Look out for them being advertised in the shop and on Facebook too.
