New Deli in the Village

Welcome, ViVi's Deli to Strathbungo. Located in the cooperage, in the lane across from the Wee Beer Shop, ViVi's provides sandwiches, home-brewed coffee, small plates, chilled beverages and B.Y.O.B both indoors and in the picturesque courtyard. Open 12:30 to 7:30pm.

Pot Luck a place to eat in the village

Sadly No Way Back at 38 Nithsdale Road has now gone, the good news is, that as luck would have it, it has been replaced with a new informal and dog-friendly cafe/restaurant offering great looking and tasting imaginative food in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Southside Roasters opens in the Village

Another coffee option has recently opened up in the village. Southside Roasters offer a fantastic range of coffee and a great selection of cakes, pastries and other food. They also sell roast coffee to take home either from the shop or to order online.  Southside Roasters is located at 742 Pollockshaws Road in the heart of Strathbungo and is on the sunny side of the street, they've also got some external seating so that you can take advantage of the sunny weather.

New Speciality Coffee and Cake Shop in Strathbungo

A new independent café with a focus on speciality coffee and unusual baked goods came to the village in April 2017.  Buchta is the Czech word for cake and indicates the origin of the owner.  the shop is a welcome addition to village and joins with Bakery 47 and Studio 70 in bringing a long neglected part of Strathbungo back to life.
